Brief Bio
- Neha is pursuing a five year B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) course at Chanakya National Law University, Patna. She is expected to graduate in 2018. At University level, on the academics front, she has secured Outstanding (O), the highest attainable grade in Legal History II and Corporate Laws II, Distinction (D), the second highest attainable grade in Legal English, Law of Contracts-I, Property Law, Law of Evidence, Criminal Law-II, Family Law-II, Constitutional Law-II, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Environmental Law, Taxation Laws-I (Direct Tax), Taxation Laws-II (Indirect Tax) and Drafting, Pleading & Conveyancing.
- Her research work on “CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY” found place in the International Journal of Law and Management Studies in its Volume 1, Issue 5 (ISSN 2455-2771). She has presented a paper titled “Appointment and Accountability of Judges in India – The NJAC BILL, 2014” at the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow.
- She was adjudged as the Best Speaker in the 14th National Youth Parliament Competition held at Group level (2017-18). She is one of the Student Editors of the Chanakya National Law University Law Journal (Vol.7, 2017). she is the Information Officer of the IDIA (Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access), Bihar Chapter.
- At Pre-university level, she was a member of the Student Council as the Justice House Captain at St. Karen’s High School (2009-10). She won the 3rd prize in a speech contest held at school level, the topic of the speech delivered being “Nationalism” (2006-07). She won the 3rd prize in a speech contest held at Rabindra Bhavan, Patna (2011-12).
