Brief Bio
- Lesley is currently a candidate for a Masters of Public Policy at Georgia State University, Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, where she is focusing on policy evaluation and research. Her areas of interest include youth empowerment, human rights and international development.
- Lesley has done extensive research in outcomes for youth in foster care and development-induced displacement. She serves on the Executive Committee for the World Affairs Council of Atlanta, Young Leaders Division; is a Board Member for Guided Good (a nonprofit serving former foster youth); and had served as a volunteer and mentor for various nonprofit organizations.
- After receiving her B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Lesley obtained her Paralegal Certificate from Emory University.
- Lesley has worked as a paralegal and law firm manager for several small and mid-size law firms in Atlanta, Georgia for the past 12 years.
