Brief Bio

  • She has completed her LLM in International Economic Law from the prestigious The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. During this period, she interned with the Investment Policy Review (IPR) team at United Nations Conference of Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Geneva. Essentially, the role of the IPR section at UNCTAD is to advise developing countries on the manner in which they can improve their investment climate in order to attract more foreign direct investment. Kritika, assisted the team in conducting background research on the legal and regulatory framework for developing countries such as Gambia, Lebanon, and Mauritius. As part of the LLM coursework, Kritika is also involved in a clinic project with the International Investment Agreements (IIA) Section of UNCTAD on the topic of sustainable investments hallmarks.
  • She completed her B.A. LL. B (Hons.) from Dr. RML National Law University, Lucknow (Dr. RMLNLU) in 2014. She has also worked as an Assistant Consultant for a Missing Child Alert Program funded by Plan International and South Asia Initiative to End Violence Against Children (SAIEVAC).
