Brief Bio

  • Jarred is a student at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, where he is pursing a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and a second degree in Latino/Latin American Studies while minoring in Spanish and History. He is currently involved in Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society and Tau Sigma National Honor Society, as well as working in the Testing Center for the Center for Educational Access on campus all while receiving the honor of being on the Dean’s and Chancellor’s List.
  • He has received recognition on campus through his nominations to Join Golden Key International Honour Society and The Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement.
  • Before studying at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, he spent two years studying Business Administration at Iowa Wesleyan University where he played two years of baseball and became co-captain as a sophomore. While studying at Iowa Wesleyan University, he was on the Dean’s List every semester and received the Richard Riepe-Pepsico Scholarship for Excellence in Business Administration in both 2015 and 2016.
  • Away from campus he has spent time interning for CameroonONE, an international NGO that is centered on helping to provide assistance and education for orphans in Cameroon. He has also spent time volunteering for Justice for Our Neighbors, a charitable organization that provides free legal assistance and advice on immigration to immigrants who are currently in the U.S. and their relatives whom may or may not be.
