Brief Bio

• Akash obtained his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School with a Certification of Specialization in Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law in 2016. He passed the New York, New Jersey and Washington D.C. Bar Examinations the same year. Akash joined Kaden Boriss as an Associate in 2016.
• Prior to this, Akash obtained a M.Sc. in Management and Marketing from Lancaster University and a B.Sc. in Applied Sciences from Hindu College.
• He has been involved in FEMA regulation analysis; drafting of shareholders agreements; contract review; preparation of legal notices; preforming legal analysis on issues of comparative law between India and the US; and providing legal counsel on potential copyright violations.
• Prior to this, he worked on drafting and filing summons, complaints and pre-trial motions in Kings County, New York; drafting briefs for appeals in the 2nd Department of the New York Supreme Court; and filing and prosecuting patents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
